Our client in the Cannabis Industry is hiring a Remote Director of Human Resources to their growing team. As a key support player to the executive team, this role utilizes data to best execute and make recommendations for continuous improvement of day to day operations. The ideal candidate possesses a working knowledge of traditional HR functions and experience nurturing high performing teams and company culture.
Requirements
Core Responsibilities
Engage employees as the face of our HR department with direct insight into day to day operations
Work closely with leadership and employees to increase productivity and morale
Experienced with employee relations, payroll, benefits, talent management, onboarding, and full cycle recruitment
Identify trends by analyzing data to propose action plans and address any issues
Design a staffing strategy, HR goals, and onboarding plans
Partner with managers for annual performance reviews and goal setting
Lead a variety of projects with cross-functional teams to develop policies, design training manuals, implementing improvements, suggesting new programs.
Qualifications
2+ years in cannabis or other highly regulated industry preferred or experience in retail or manufacturing. Additional experience in high growth or start up environments preferred
3+ years in Sr. HR Management or Director level HR role
PHR, SHRM-CP, Certification, preferred
Excellent communication skills with ability to confidently interact with all levels of staff
Ability to prioritize with strong organizational skills
