Our client in the Cannabis Industry is hiring a Remote Director of Human Resources to their growing team. This role presents a unique opportunity for professional development and progression into a VP position as the company expands. As a key support player to the executive team, this role utilizes data to best execute and make recommendations for continuous improvement of day to day operations. The ideal candidate possesses a working knowledge of traditional HR functions and experience nurturing high performing teams and company culture.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities

  • Engage employees as the face of our HR department with direct insight into day to day operations 

  • Work closely with leadership and employees to increase productivity and morale

  • Experienced with employee relations, payroll, benefits, talent management, onboarding, and full cycle recruitment 

  • Identify trends by analyzing data to propose action plans and address any issues

  • Design a staffing strategy, HR goals, and onboarding plans

  • Partner with managers for annual performance reviews and goal setting

  • Lead a variety of projects with cross-functional teams to develop policies, design training manuals, implementing improvements, suggesting new programs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in cannabis or other highly regulated industry preferred or experience in retail or manufacturing. Additional experience in high growth or start up environments preferred 

  • 3+ years in Sr. HR Management or Director level HR role 

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, Certification, preferred

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to confidently interact with all levels of staff

  • Ability to prioritize with strong organizational skills

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
